The Shitty Barn

As co-founder and co-producer of The Shitty Barn, this project has been a true labor of love from day one. Beyond developing its visual identity and serving as creative director for the first eight seasons, I helped shape the experience itself — curating events and creative that turned The Shitty Barn into one of the Midwest’s most beloved destinations for musicians and music lovers alike.

I also launched, curated and participated in the venue’s ongoing poster series, recruiting talented designers from across the Midwest and beyond to create original artwork for each performing artist — a tradition that continues today. Those posters line the walls of the barn, a living archive of the creativity, collaboration, and sheer joy that’s passed through its doors.
