Cloudscape Cabin

The builders of Cloudscape Cabin made this modest two bedroom, one bath their full-time home in the early 1970s and ran an antique store out of the walk-out basement. The moment we saw this Wisconsin Northwoods treasure, we fell in love and bought it in 2021. We are the fourth owners, and we use it year round. For the past 20 years or so it had mostly been a seasonal escape. Over the past five years we have been updating the space, making sure every part we touch honors the natural beauty around it. Reliable handymen are nearly impossible to find in the area, so we leaned way into our DIY skills and expanded them. For better or worse, we now wonder if there is anything we can't do. Every year, we try to find out.
