My sandboxes

I’m a creative and design leader who has always believed curiosity is the best tool in the box. If something doesn’t exist yet, I’ll figure out how to build it. That’s been the through-line of my career (and honestly, my life).

We live more and more on screens, so I believe in making things people connect with. Things you want to reach out and touch: new made old and familiar, in any medium. I’m drawn to work that feels like it has a story, and I bring that to everything I make.

Away from the screen, I’m usually making by hand. Music, furniture, a home renovation, a rock wall: making runs through every part of my life, and it’s the driving force behind everything I do.

Let’s chat

I’ve led creative teams, built a studio from scratch inside a fast-growing tech company, and worked as an art director and designer both agency and brand side, helping ideas find their voice and form. I’m currently taking on freelance gigs as well as running my own Creative Studio, Big Sis.

Right now I’m running Big Sis Creative Studio with Jason Mann, collaborating with creatives, teams, brands and fellow visionaries on freelance and contract projects that mix branding, creative direction, design, storytelling, and a little bit of experimentation.

We focus on working with female founders, community builders and mission-driven brands looking to make a real impact.
