The short version
This site uses a simple, privacy-focused visitor counter (Umami). It does not use cookies, ad trackers or advertising profiles, and it has no forms. I can see how many people visit and which pages they read. I cannot see who you are.
What stays on your device
If you turn the sound on or off, your choice is saved in your browser (local storage, key ea-sound) so it carries from page to page. It never leaves your device. Clear your site data and it is gone.
Analytics
To understand how many people visit and which work gets read, I use Umami Cloud, a cookie-free analytics service. When you load a page it records the page address, the page you came from, your browser, operating system and device type, screen size, language, and your approximate country or region. It does not set cookies or store your IP address, and it does not follow you across other sites or build a profile of you. I use these counts only to see overall traffic and to improve this site. They are not shared or sold.
Analytics run only on erinanstett.com, and they stay off if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. Some ad blockers also stop them. Umami privacy
Videos
Project videos are embedded from Vimeo and YouTube, and they load as you browse a reel. Those services may set their own cookies or log your visit once a video loads, under their own policies. I ask Vimeo not to track (do-not-track mode) and use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, but I do not control what they do. Vimeo privacy · YouTube / Google privacy
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub, like any web host, may log technical data such as IP addresses to run and secure the service. I do not have access to those logs. GitHub privacy statement
The “Let’s chat” links open your email app, addressed to erin@bigsiscreativestudio.com. If you write, I get your message and your address, and I use them only to reply. I do not add anyone to a list or sell or share contact details.
